Dave Deberry

David Deberry recently joined the Raleigh office of Trust Company as an Investment Analyst, where he collaborates closely with the Chief Investment Officer to manage client portfolios. Prior to this role, he served as Director of Operations and Equities Trader at a local hedge fund, bringing years of experience in financial management and investment operations.

David holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College and earned his Executive M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, David and his wife Darlene now reside in Durham, North Carolina. With their two adult children, David Jr. and Danielle, off on their own, they enjoy life as empty nesters alongside their toy poodle, Bentley. In his free time, David enjoys coaching little league baseball, traveling, and grilling for family and friends.
